Unrecognized or Unexpected Charges from RubyBeam
See a charge from us you weren’t expecting? Take a breath — there’s almost always a simple explanation. Find the one that matches your situation below.
Does this match the charge you see?
If the name reads a little differently but the amount matches a RubyBeam order, it’s almost always your bank’s wording for the same purchase. Still unsure? Contact our team and we’ll look it up for you.
Charged again after your first order — this is your refill plan
If you chose Subscribe & Save at checkout, you’re on our automatic refill plan — and because RubyBeam is designed to be used continuously, this is exactly how it’s meant to work. Your RubyBeam ships and bills again on the schedule you picked; a repeat charge is almost always this.
You’re always warned first. We email you a few days before every refill ships — so a charge is never a surprise. Check your inbox (and spam) before your renewal date.
Why your refills matter
RubyBeam only works if you keep using it — consistency is the whole point. Results build over weeks of daily use and are kept up by staying on your routine; the moment you run out and stop, your progress stalls and can fade. Your refills are what keep your results going — the plan simply makes sure you never run out mid-routine, at your lowest locked-in price.
- Consistent use is what delivers results
- Never run out and stall your progress
- Your lowest price, locked in
“I was going to cancel after the first month — but I actually noticed my skin looked firmer when I used the Serum + Cream with my RubyBeam.”
What the amount usually looks like:
- Around $99 — sometimes a little more once shipping is added — for a single-product refill.
- Closer to $200 if you ordered two products, since your refill plan simply covers both.
Not ready for this shipment? You don’t have to cancel — you can skip just this one or pause your plan anytime from your Manage Subscription page. And if you’d rather not keep it at all, contact our support team — as long as the order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll happily cancel it and handle everything for you.
Charged by RubyBeam but you don’t remember ordering
Someone in your household may have placed the order, or your payment details may have been used without your consent.
If you never ordered from us — or you think your card was used without permission — contact us right away. Share the charge date and amount and we’ll track it down and make it right.
Charged a different amount than you expected
A total can differ from the sticker price for a few reasons:
- Shipping or taxes were added at checkout based on your address.
- A discount or promo code didn’t apply, expired, or didn’t meet its minimum.
- Your bank applied a currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fee if you’re outside the US.
- You ordered a bundle or multiple items that were billed together.
Your order confirmation email has the full itemized breakdown. Can’t find it? We’ll resend it.
You see two charges for one order
Most of the time, one of those is a temporary authorization hold — your bank sets the money aside to confirm your card is valid. It isn’t a real charge, and it drops off on its own, usually within 3–5 business days.
You should only ever be charged once per order. If both charges are still there after 5 business days, send us the two amounts and dates and we’ll fix it the same day.
Charged after canceling your subscription
If an order was already prepared before you canceled, that final charge may still go through. Canceling stops future renewals — not an order that’s already in motion.
Open your Manage Subscription page to confirm your plan shows as canceled. If you were charged for a renewal after canceling, let us know and we’ll refund it.
You requested a return or refund but still see the charge
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. From there it typically takes 5–10 business days for your bank to post it — and it shows up as a new credit, not as the original charge disappearing.
Haven’t started a return yet? Our 30-day money-back guarantee has you covered. Reach out and we’ll walk you through it.
Thinking about disputing the charge? Please talk to us first. A bank dispute can take 30–90 days and may cancel your order or freeze your account — we can usually sort it out the same day, and we’re genuinely on your side.
- Your order number (in your confirmation email)
- The charge date and amount
- The email you used to order
- The last 4 digits of your card
Still don’t recognize the charge?
Our team will personally look up any charge tied to your name or email and tell you exactly what it was — no runaround.
We reply within 24 hours, Monday–Friday. Please reach out before disputing with your bank — we can almost always sort it out faster directly.
